Knighter changes from BMW to Kawasaki but keeps his WP Suspension and is back to winning ways! - Snowshoe GNCC, West Virginia, USA
After a nightmare half season of the World Enduro Championship on a BMW, David and his new Kawasaki KX450F have won the super tough Snowshoe GNCC in West Virginia, USA. Leading from the first lap, David never looked back despite a good challenge from the hard charging Joshua Strang. At the end of the 3 hour race Knighter finished approx 5 mins ahead of second place Paul Whibley with Nate Kanney in third. Problems for Strang meant he ended up a disappointing sixth.
Working out of the back of a van and using a bike he bought himself albeit with some trick components fitted including the latest WP Suspension factory 4800 MXMA front forks and WP TRAX shock, Knighter has proved some of his doubters wrong by winning what is regarded as the toughest GNCC round on the calendar. David now hopes to compete in upcoming UK events, again on a Kawasaki running WP!
We will keep you up to date with his progress!
